A minor quibble, but this does approach 'No True Scotsman" territory. Inattentive or slothful Catholics are still Catholic-- as ex-Catholics are not.

I'm not Catholic, so I have to ask what/who is a "kneller"? I can't find a description for it on the web.

In Catholic Churches (and some Anglicans) there are kneelers in each pre for folks to kneel on as they pray.
